WHO WE ARE

Here at MOPS, we gather and support mums. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when mums come together. Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 in the US when a group of mums with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys.

Over the past 50 years, MOPS has expanded our community to include mums with school-aged kids. In addition, MOPS International is partnering with churches and organisations worldwide to equip and encourage mums in more than 70 countries.

MOPS Australia is part of this Global Sisterhood of mums.
